The website cogole.to is owned and operated by a private individual on a non-professional basis, not for profit, with no scheduled publication frequency and no editorial team. It therefore does not constitute an "editorial product" under Italian Law 7 March 2001 No. 62.

Pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 70/2003 and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the contact point for any formal communication — including requests for full identification in the context of legal proceedings or an authorities' request — is [email protected].

Hosting and technology providers

• Hosting: physical servers in Italy, infrastructure owned by the controller.
• CDN, DNS, anti-DDoS: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — only static cache and network protection, no editorial decisions.
• OAuth providers: Google Ireland Ltd., Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Apple Distribution International Ltd. — used only to authenticate users who request it.
• Transactional email: self-hosted SMTP server, relayed through the aemitic.rocks domain.

Nature of content

The site's editorial content (descriptions of places, food, the history of Cogoleto) reflects the personal opinions of the controller, does not constitute journalism and is not offered on a professional basis.

User-generated content (postcards, reviews, votes) reflects opinions of individual authors. The controller acts as a "hosting provider" under Italian Legislative Decree 70/2003 and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA): not liable for the lawfulness of third-party content prior to a report, but acts promptly to remove anything reported as unlawful.
