Attribution and licensing for the photos used on the site.
cogole.to uses photos under clear licences: mostly royalty-free editorial stock that doesn't require attribution (Pexels), plus photos of Cogoleto-specific monuments and places made available by their authors on Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences.
Pexels photos don't require explicit credit; Wikimedia Creative Commons photos are listed below with their author and licence as required.

Pexels photos
The generic photos of Liguria, Italy and the Mediterranean (alleyways, seafronts, beaches, sunsets, mountains) are stock images from Pexels — free commercial-use licence with no attribution required. The individual photographers are nonetheless credited in the source-code commit messages.
Maps
Map images shown on venue cards and on the restaurants / beach club pages are generated via the Google Static Maps API and the Google Maps Embed API, officially licensed from Google with built-in attribution.
Reporting errors
If you're the author of a photo used on the site and believe it was published without correct attribution, or would like an image removed, please write to [email protected]: requests are handled within a few working days.
